Mechanical Assembler – Day ShiftAre you mechanically inclined, confident reading blueprints, and experienced assembling equipment or components? Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting an experienced Mechanical Assembler for a growing local company.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, building equipment, troubleshooting problems, and seeing a finished product come together.Pay & SchedulePay: $18.00–$21.00/hour, based on experienceCore Hours:Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM–3:30 PMFriday: 6:00 AM–10:00 AMEarly day shift Friday half-day Hands-on mechanical work Opportunity to put your assembly experience to workWhat You'll Be DoingAs a Mechanical Assembler, you will assemble and fabricate mechanical parts, components, and equipment according to specifications and quality standards.Your responsibilities may include:Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materialsAssembling mechanical components and finished equipmentUsing hand and power tools including drills, screwdrivers, calipers, tape measures, and other assembly toolsMeasuring components and verifying proper fit and placementPerforming quality checks throughout the assembly processIdentifying defects or assembly issues and completing required documentationReworking or repairing assembled equipment when specifications or engineering requirements changeWorking with components involving basic hydraulic and electrical systemsMaintaining materials and inventory at your workstationFollowing established safety and quality proceduresKeeping your work area clean, organized, and safeTroubleshooting assembly problems and determining appropriate solutionsWhat We're Looking ForWe are looking for candidates with a strong mechanical background who can work independently, follow detailed instructions, and produce accurate, quality work.Required Qualifications:5+ years of mechanical assembly experienceHigh School Diploma or GEDAbility to read and understand basic blueprints and mechanical drawingsBasic knowledge of hydraulic and electrical componentsExperience using hand and power toolsAbility to accurately read measurementsBasic computer navigation skillsStrong attention to detailGood problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsSelf-motivated and dependableMust possess your own toolsMust be able to successfully complete a ruler/measurement test, if requiredTechnical or vocational training/certification may be preferred or required depending on experiencePhysical RequirementsCandidates must be comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment and able to:Regularly lift 30–50 lbs.Stand for extended periodsBend, reach, and lift throughout the shiftPerform repetitive assembly tasksUse hands and fingers to accurately assemble smaller parts and componentsWork efficiently while maintaining quality and attention to detailExperienced Mechanical Assemblers — We Want to Talk to You!If you have experience in mechanical assembly, equipment manufacturing, hydraulics, electrical components, fabrication, industrial assembly, or similar hands-on mechanical work, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.Apply today with Express Employment Professionals!Don't let your experience sit on the sidelines — put your mechanical skills to work and get paid for what you know how to do.$18–$21/hr | Day Shift | Friday Half-Day
