Build products that help power HVAC, refrigeration, power generation, and industrial systems across the globe.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Mechanical Assembler - 1st Shift Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 15.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Thursday from 05:00am to 03:00pm)Assemble heat transfer coils and cooling units using hand and power tools.Read blueprints, work instructions, and assembly drawings to ensure accurate builds.Install components, tubing, and hardware according to quality specifications.Inspect finished products for defects and perform basic quality checks.Maintain a clean, safe work area while meeting production goals and deadlines.Mechanical Assembler - 1st Shift Qualifications:Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and assembly drawings accurately.Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and move throughout the shift.Must meet pre-employment screening requirements, including background check and drug screening.PPE REQUIREMENTS: STEEL TOE BOOTSApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
