Job Description Job Description Mechanical Assembler - 2nd Shift
Manufacturing Environment $19.00/hour
Are you mechanically inclined and looking to join a growing manufacturing team? We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to build mechanical and pneumatic sub-assemblies across multiple product lines in a clean, climate-controlled facility. This is a fast-paced position offering training, overtime opportunities, and a stable work schedule.
Schedule 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Mandatory overtime of 7-10 hours per week
Must be available to work Saturdays as needed
Training will be completed on 1st Shift for approximately 3-4 weeks: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Pay $19.00 - $22.00 per hour , based on experience
Responsibilities Assemble mechanical and pneumatic components into sub-assemblies
Perform self-inspections and quality checks
Test and troubleshoot assembled units
Complete required documentation accurately
Utilize basic hand tools and assembly equipment
Ensure products meet quality and production standards
Release completed sub-assemblies to final assembly
Qualifications Mechanical aptitude and assembly experience preferred
Ability to use basic hand tools safely and effectively
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to follow work instructions and specifications
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment
Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules when needed
Work Environment Clean and climate-controlled manufacturing facility

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesterfield, MO.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
