Job description
Mechanical AssemblerPay: $19hr Location: Tulsa, OK areaOverview: We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to assemble crane components, hydraulic systems, and mechanical assemblies according to blueprints and bills of materials. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, experience using hand and power tools, and the ability to safely work with heavy components in a manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:Assemble crane components, bases, booms, motors, winches, and related assemblies according to specificationsRead and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs)Utilize hand tools, pneumatic tools, and power tools during assembly processesInstall hydraulic hoses, motors, winches, and mechanical componentsUse overhead cranes and forklifts to position and move heavy materials safelyPull and organize parts required for assembly and create assembly kits as neededPerform basic electrical wiring and component connections according to assembly instructionsApply decals, labels, and perform touch-up work on finished products as requiredVerify proper product identification and documentation throughout the production processConduct quality checks to ensure assemblies meet specifications and standardsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow all safety procedures and company policiesQualifications:High School Diploma or GED preferredMinimum of 6 months of mechanical assembly, maintenance, manufacturing, or related experience preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and bills of materialsExperience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devicesForklift certification or experience preferredBasic computer skills and ability to navigate inventory or ERP systemsStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilityPreferred Competencies:Strong problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and quality workmanshipDependability and reliabilityAbility to meet production goals and deadlinesSafety-conscious mindsetAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shiftFrequent use of hand and arm muscles for assembly tasksAbility to lift 20–50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with assistance or lifting equipmentFrequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and climbing as neededAbility to work in hot, cold, and industrial manufacturing environmentsFrequent use of hand tools, pneumatic tools, forklifts, and overhead cranesMust be able to wear required PPE including safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, and hearing protectionSchedule:Monday – Friday, 5am - 1:30pm, with OT and some weekendsAbundant Solutions 5151 S Mingo Rd Suite D Tulsa, OK 74146Send resumes to
