Diesel Engine Assembler$18-$28 per hour, depending upon experienceNight Shift only 11p-7a / competitive shift differentialWe are looking for Diesel Engine Assemblers to join the Union team at our Clarke Fire Sharonville location! Are you mechanically inclined with previous assembly experience? Are you looking for an excellent new opportunity? Clarke Fire is recognized worldwide as a leading manufacturer of diesel fire pump engines. We would like to talk with you!Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Positions parts according to assembly instructions or following blueprintsFastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fastenersRequires basic set of hand toolsMust be available for 3rd shift (11p-7a) and flexible schedule during training.Must be able to work OvertimeVersatile Team player willing to learn multiple processes.Skills and/or ExperienceUse of hand tools and pneumatic or battery impact toolsUnderstand torque values and ability to use torque wrenchesDetail oriented, ability to read parts listAbility to complete documentation and other necessary paperworkDiesel or automotive trade school is preferredPhysical and Safety RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit.The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms.The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistance.The associate must be able to read and write reports.Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.Why should you apply?
