Job description

Mechanical AssemblerThis position is to plan and perform highly diversified functions necessary to assemble, disassemble, hydrotest, performance test, mount, align and pipe a wide variety of assemblies, rotors and equipment.Location: Bethlehem, PAWe Take Care of Our People:Paid Time Off, 401K with Employer Match and Profit Sharing, Health and Wellness Benefits, Learning and Development Opportunities, Referral Program, Competitive Pay, Recognition, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Inclusive & Supportive CultureYour Challenge:Work under supervision and receive instructions from appropriate supervision. Work instructions will be both written and verbal, utilizing drawings, procedures and/or sketchesMake decisions involving initiative and judgement to assemble, disassemble, maintain traceability, hydrotest equipment, mount, align and test a wide variety of equipment in a wide variety of test arrangementsSetup, operate and maintain various types of equipment singly or in parallel. Equipment includes, but is not limited to: Hand held tools, Measuring equipment, Mounting/Piping machines/tools, Machine tools, Welding Equipment, Pneumatic tools, Gages, Meters, Air/Shot blast equipmentOperate all material handling equipmentWhat You Bring:Must be a US citizen and be able to qualify for a U.S. Government security clearanceStrong mechanical aptitude - automotive, small engine repairs, rotating equipmentProficient in reading blueprint, drawings and proceduresWelding skills would be an assetWho We Are:Our ValuesEnvironmental, Social and GovernanceCurtiss-Wright Engineered Pump Division (EPD) and its predecessor companies have been providing naval and maritime technological expertise since 1847.
