Mechanical AssemblerFieldBridge is looking for a Mechanical Assembler in Houston, TX to work for a worldwide provider of equipment and components used in oil and gas drilling and production operations. We offer weekly pay + benefits. Pay is $20.82 - $25.24/hour | Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM | Weekly pay every Friday | OT available during the week and occasional weekends | At $25.24/hr and 50 hrs/week, earn weekly paychecks of $1,388.20 gross.Important Notes: This is a temp/contract assignment (approx. 3–5 months) with no possibility of conversion to full-time. All interviews are conducted in-person, and candidates must have immediate availability to start if selected.Position OverviewFieldBridge is hiring a Mechanical Assembler to join a fast-paced warehouse/shop floor team in Houston. This role is responsible for assembling parts and subassemblies into finished products using hand tools, machines, and automated equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable reading blueprints.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble components by fastening parts and subassemblies to produce finished productsRead and interpret schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructionsPosition and align parts and subassemblies manually or using hoists/templatesPerform quality control checks and verify specifications by measuring completed componentsTroubleshoot assembly problems and notify supervisor for additional resources as neededRequired QualificationsMust be able to read assembly blueprints in EnglishPrevious assembly experience highly preferredAbility to pass a drug screen, background check, and physicalWilling and able to work overtime and occasional weekends as requiredStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a teamAdaptable and willing to be cross-trained
