Mechanical Assembler / Manufacturing Operator BLocation: Minneapolis, MNPay: $20.11 - $21.11/hrShifts Available: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift OpportunitiesJob OverviewWe are seeking a Mechanical Assembler / Manufacturing Operator B to join our production team. In this role, you will perform mechanical assembly, sub-assembly, washing, rework, repair operations, and pallet loading while ensuring products meet quality and customer standards. This position is ideal for individuals with assembly experience who enjoy working with tools and contributing to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesAssemble line components and mechanical sub-assemblies according to work instructions and blueprints.Use hand tools and power tools to build, inspect, and test products.Perform material washing and final washing operations.Conduct rework and repair activities on products that do not meet specifications.Operate equipment used for deburring, grinding, and general production tasks.Perform visual inspections and verify product quality using measuring and testing equipment.Load pallets and complete material handling tasks as needed.Complete production and quality documentation, including scrap tags and work records.Escalate equipment, tooling, material, and quality concerns to the Line Lead or Supervisor.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.QualificationsRequiredMechanical assembly experience preferred.Experience using hand tools and power tools.Ability to read and follow work instructions.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to stand for the entire shift.Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.Preferred6+ months of manufacturing or assembly experience.Blueprint reading experience.Experience with deburring, grinding, or machine operation.Experience completing production or quality documentation.Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.Benefits & PerksBenefits available starting on Day 1401(k) with 5% Company MatchProfit Sharing Program (up to 5%)Tuition ReimbursementSteel-Toed Boot Reimbursement (up to $150 after hire)Employee Wellness Program with Gym Membership ReimbursementCareer Growth and Advancement OpportunitiesStable, Long-Term EmploymentWork EnvironmentClean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility with air conditioning.Employees stand throughout the shift.Exposure to manufacturing equipment, oils, cleaners, coolants, and moving machinery.Hearing protection required in designated areas.Eye protection required throughout the facility.Slip-resistant safety shoes required.Safety-focused workplace with strong quality standards.Why Join Us?Join a company that invests in its employees through excellent benefits, profit sharing, tuition assistance, and long-term career growth opportunities.
