Job description
Mechanical AssemblerProvisur builds precision-engineered food processing equipment used by manufacturers worldwide, including defrosting, grinding, mixing, separating, forming, and slicing systems. Our Mechanical Assemblers build, test, and troubleshoot these machines from assembly prints and technical schematics before they ship.This role is built for someone with 2+ years of hands-on mechanical assembly experience and the ability to read hydraulic/pneumatic schematics.What You'll NeedHigh school diploma or equivalent2-4 years of mechanical and/or electro-mechanical assembly experienceAbility to read hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and mechanical assembly drawingsHands-on experience with torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, and LoctiteMachine shop or electrical schematic experience is a strong plusWhat You'll DoAssemble Provisur/Formax machines and peripheral equipment from assembly prints and schematicsTest and troubleshoot completed units against performance specificationsComplete assembly checklists and conduct final inspectionsSubmit equipment improvement observations to EngineeringWhat You'll EnjoyPay based on experience: $27/hr at 2 years of qualifying experience, up to $30/hr at 4+ years with demonstrated schematic proficiencyHealth insurance, paid holidays, PTO, 401(k), employee referral bonuses, and pet insurancePromote-from-within culture with real cross-training and skill developmentStable, long-term employment at a global OEMApply now if you have the mechanical assembly background and want to build equipment that ships to food processing lines worldwide.Pay RangeThe range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for this position at the time of posting.
