Job description
Mechanical AssemblerThe Assembler will assemble manufactured products according to specifications.Duties and Responsibilities:Assemble large machinery, fabricated metal products according to directions.Read blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation to build to specification.Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.Check products to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolve any identified problems.Perform other related duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:Previous experience with and the ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.Previous experience operating hand tools.Ability to read a tape measure.Detail-oriented.Consistent workmanship.Works well as a productive member of a team.Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis; lift 50# on occasion.Must have manual dexterity to assemble products or machines as directed including bending, stooping, and reaching.Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.Must wear safety glasses, face shield, gloves, and ear protection.We Make it EasyFounded in 1901, MRA is a nonprofit employer association that serves more than 4,000 employers, covering more than one million employees.As one of the largest employer associations in the nation, MRA helps its member organizations thrive by offering the most comprehensive assortment of HR services, information, education, and resources to help build successful workplaces and a powerful workforce.We partner with these companies working directly with their HR department and leadership to hire their talent.
