Job description
Mechanical AssemblerThis role involves leading the assembly of components and sub-assemblies of metal parts according to blueprints and job packets. The position requires the ability to plan and perform large and complex assemblies, directing others with minimal supervision. You will assist with assembly jobs as assigned and perform inspections throughout the process to ensure quality and reduce scheduled job times. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is essential. You may operate various hand and power tools such as band saws, drill presses, grinders, and belt sanders.Responsibilities:Lead assembly of components and sub-assemblies of metal parts according to blueprints and job packets.Plan and perform large and complex assemblies with minimal supervision.Direct and assist with assigned assembly jobs.Perform inspections throughout the process to ensure quality.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Operate a variety of hand and power tools.Essential Skills:Proficiency in blueprint reading.Experience with hand tools and power tools.Mechanical assembly skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Associate degree or equivalent combination of education.One year of previous experience in a manufacturing environment or assembly.Why Work Here?Recently increased starting pay for all shifts and positions. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
