Medical AssemblerNow hiring for a Medical Assembler Location: Rock Hill, SC Pay Rate: $20.00 – $29.00 per hour Schedule: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Monday – FridayStep Up. Snap In. Ship Out. Looking for Medical Assembler jobs in Rock Hill where craftsmanship and precision come together? This opportunity lets you assemble quality products using hand tools, mechanical skills, and detailed work instructions while helping keep production running efficiently.Job DutiesAssemble mechanical and electrical components into complete compressor systems using drawings and bills of materials.Perform precise alignment, measurement, and electrical/pressure testing.Document work orders via company computer systems and maintain inventory traceability.Execute complex alignment and measurement activities such as backlash calibration and axial play positioning to ensure compliance with technical specs.Connect compressors to testing consoles, operate automated test programs, diagnose issues via fault identification, troubleshoot effectively, and implement corrective actions within set timelines.Perform comprehensive functional and static testing such as oil, air, and water pressure evaluations as well as electrical safety checks including grounding, insulation resistance and full system functional tests.Maintain a clean, hazard-free workstation following 5S and safety standards.Other duties as assigned.Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED.Technical vocational training is a strong asset.Experience Requirements2+ years in mechanical, electrical, or heavy industrial assembly.Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and parts lists.Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic tools.Physical CapabilitiesAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.Manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.Ability to maintain focus while performing detailed assembly work in a manufacturing environment.BenefitsCompetitive Weekly PayComprehensive Benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.Life and Disability Insurance for added peace of mind.Optional 401(k) Plan to help you prepare for the future.Safety-Focused Manufacturing Environment with opportunities for advancement and skill development.Jump on board and see why 8 out of 10 folks say they'd tell their best buddy to work at Staffmark too.
