Mechanical Assembler – Industrial EquipmentA well-established industrial equipment manufacturer in Ewing, NJ with over 60 years in business is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Assembler to build industrial cleaning machines from the ground up. You will work from blueprints and assembly drawings in a clean, organized indoor shop environment with consistent Monday through Friday hours. From expertly managed resource services to strategic consulting, we provide end-to-end solutions that align with your goals—delivering the right talent, expertise, and execution to power your most critical initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble mechanical components, frames, and industrial equipment subassemblies per blueprint specificationsInstall mechanical fittings, brackets, panels, and basic plumbing connections including pipes, valves, and fittingsUse hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and precision measuring instruments dailyRead and interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings independentlyVerify measurements, tolerances, and part fitment using calipers and micrometersPerform mechanical testing and inspection of assembled units before shipmentMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment following 5S guidelinesComplete work orders, inspection logs, and production documentation accuratelyCollaborate with engineering and quality teams when assembly questions ariseRequirements1–3 years of mechanical assembly, industrial equipment, or hands-on trade experienceAbility to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and assembly drawingsProficient with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instrumentsSome familiarity with plumbing connections — pipes, fittings, valves — helpful but not requiredBasic awareness of heating or cooling/refrigeration systems a plusAble to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods throughout the shiftStable work history required — minimum 1–2 years in previous rolesStrong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detailWhy This Role$24–$26/hr — flexible upward for the right candidate and experienceMonday through Friday, 7AM–3:30PM — consistent schedule, no weekendsClean, organized indoor manufacturing environmentContract to hire — real path to permanent employmentEstablished, stable company that has been in business since 1961
