Job description
Mechanical AssemblerThe role involves using drawings and blueprints to assemble complex structures, support components, and sub-assemblies primarily for construction projects, including structures, railings, cables, and framing.Responsibilities:Interpret drawings and blueprints to assemble structures accurately.Utilize tape measures, power tools, and hand tools effectively.Assist in constructing railings, cables, and framing components.Ensure all assemblies are completed according to specifications.Essential Skills:Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings and blueprints.Experience with tape measures, power tools, and hand tools.Capability to work with drills and saws.Knowledge of woodworking techniques.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Experience as a shop helper is beneficial.Understanding of construction project requirements.Why Work Here?This position offers a great opportunity to be cross-trained in various fabrication areas within a company known for producing distinct products. The shop environment is open to the elements, which may be cold in the winter and hot in the summer.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, WA.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
