Mechanical Assemblers-Direct HireWe're seeking Mechanical Assemblers to work with a premier manufacturing client in Kearny, NJ.Direct Hire Location: Kearny, NJ Shift: 1st Shift Pay: $23–$25/hour Employment Type: Full-TimeJob SummaryThe Mechanical Assembler performs the mechanical assembly and final integration of manufactured products while working from production drawings, specifications, and schedules. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on tool experience, and the ability to work accurately within established quality and safety requirements.The client's assembler position combines electrical and mechanical assembly and final product integration.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssemble mechanical components and products to completion.Read and interpret mechanical assembly and fabrication drawings.Perform product assembly according to drawings and work instructions.Use hand tools and other assembly equipment safely and effectively.Work independently while following established production schedules.Verify parts and components are properly installed and assembled.Communicate quality or production issues to Shop Leads or supervisors.Assist coworkers with additional production tasks as needed.Participate in shop cleanup and organization.Follow ISO 9001 quality-system requirements.Follow all company safety, quality, and environmental procedures.QualificationsPrevious mechanical assembly, manufacturing, fabrication, or related experience.Strong mechanical aptitude.Ability to read mechanical drawings and assembly prints.Strong knowledge of common hand tools.Ability to measure, align, fasten, and assemble components accurately.Electrical wiring familiarity is helpful but not required for the mechanical pay tier.Ability to follow production schedules and work instructions.Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds when required.
