Mechanical Commissioning Engineers – Data Centers | Multiple Levels
East Coast USA | Northern Virginia & Indiana Projects | Excellent Salary + Benefits + Per Diem

I'm supporting a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy that's expanding its mechanical commissioning team to deliver major data center projects across Northern Virginia and Indiana.
With a substantial pipeline of work and continued investment in its commissioning division, the business is looking to hire engineers across multiple experience levels.
That includes L1–L3 Mechanical Commissioning Engineers as well as more senior professionals with L4 Functional Performance Testing and L5 Integrated Systems Testing experience.

What experience are we looking for?
Mechanical Commissioning Engineers, HVAC Commissioning Engineers, Mechanical Commissioning Specialists and experienced HVAC professionals with relevant commissioning exposure.
Experience with the following systems is particularly relevant:
Chillers, cooling towers and chilled-water systems
Pumps, VFDs, CRAH/CRAC units and AHUs
BAS/BMS controls and sequences of operation
Cooling redundancy, equipment startup and functional testing
We're recruiting across two experience levels:
L1–L3 Engineers: Mechanical installation verification, QA/QC inspections, equipment readiness, startup support, pre-functional checks, point-to-point verification and equipment-level testing.
L4–L5 Senior Engineers: Functional Performance Testing, mechanical failure scenarios, cooling redundancy testing, BAS/BMS sequence verification, Integrated Systems Testing and commissioning leadership.
