Position Summary
Supports the design and engineering of HVAC, plumbing, and piping under the guidance of senior engineers. xhmxlyz Builds foundational skills in system design, calculations, and construction documentation while contributing to active project work across new construction and renovation projects.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with conceptual and detailed design tasks for assigned projects under senior engineer direction
Support project design coordination meetings and help prepare meeting follow-up items
Prepare preliminary design layouts and redlines to support estimating, under senior review
Perform standard engineering calculations (heating/cooling loads, equipment sizing, friction loss, basic hydraulics) with senior oversight
Support site visits and field inspections to help verify compliance with construction documents
Assist with construction document production and coordination for small to mid-size projects
Learn and apply DSI design standards, calculation methods, and QA/QC processes
