nIn our Mechanical Data Center team, we deliver high-impact, cost-effective solutions that support our clients' growth across global markets. We combine strong technical execution with thoughtful design strategies tailored to each project and location.
nWe are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Designer to support our fast-paced Data Center market. In this role, you will contribute to the development and delivery of mechanical system designs, working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to execute innovative and high-quality solutions.
nYou will perform design assignments with general technical guidance and contribute to complex projects involving critical data center infrastructure.
nKey Responsibilities
nnnDevelop Revit/BIM models and construction documents for mechanical systems on data center projects
n
nnSupport the layout and design of HVAC and hydronic systems, including chilled water and cooling water systems
n
nnAssistin development of design criteria and basis of design documentation
n
nnPrepare conceptual and preliminary designs, including flow diagrams and general arrangements
n
nnPerform ductwork and piping layout based on load requirements, system diagrams, and equipment configurations
n
nnProduce detailed construction documents, including plans, sections, and system details
n
nnCoordinate with multi-disciplinary teams (electrical, structural, architectural) to ensure integrated designs
n
nnParticipate in model coordination efforts, including clash detection (NavisWorks/Revizto)
n
nnSupport design reviews and quality control processes
n
nnMentor and guide junior designers as appropriate
n
n nQualifications
nnnAssociate degree in Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)
n
nn6+ years of mechanical design experience, preferably in mission-critical or industrial facilities
n
nnStrong proficiency in Revit and BIM modeling for mechanical systems
n
nnExperience developing construction documents for HVAC and hydronic systems
n
nnAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
n
nnStrong collaboration skills across multi-disciplinary teams
n
n nIdeally, You'll Also Have
nnnExperience with data center or mission-critical facility design
n
nnFamiliarity with tools such asNavisWorks,Revizto
n
nnKnowledge of load calculation software (Trane Trace, Carrier HAP, etc.)
n
nnUnderstanding of ASHRAE standards and mechanical codes
n
nnStrong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
n
nnInterest in emerging technologies, including liquid cooling systems (CDUs, high-temp loops)
