Mechanical Electro Assembler IICCI Capco, LLC dba Valor Tactical Innovation is a dynamic and innovative manufacturing company with a proven track record of delivering exceptional solutions to government agencies. Valor's production facility includes more than 150,000 square feet of manufacturing space as well 3,000 square feet of designated explosive manufacturing space and four dedicated bunkers for explosive materials storage. Valor supports American warfighters by designing and producing reliable, cartridge-actuated devices.The Mechanical Electro Assembler II assembles small components and will train others on various production lines, ensuring smooth operations, maintaining high quality standards, and achieving safety and production goals. This role involves the knowledge of multiple production operations, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and effectively communicating with peers, line leads and supervisor.Key Responsibilities:Support Lean 5S initiatives to achieve a workplace that is clean, uncluttered, safe, and well organized to help reduce waste and optimize productivity.Demonstrate good time management skills while multitaskingAssemble small componentsFollow documented and spoken directions and policies including on-the-job training, written job instructions and standard operating proceduresSafely meet established labor efficiency and production goals such as throughput and quality of workAccurately complete forms and documentation such as production travelers (MOT's)Align parts or workpieces to ensure proper assemblyMark products, workpieces, or equipment with accurate identifying information using laser engraverAssist with inventory related tasksAssist with troubleshooting fixtures and equipmentPerform basic welding/soldering of small components using microscopes, robots, soldering ironsKnowledge of multiple processes on two production lines and ability to train othersIn-Process Quality InspectionInspect components using scope, magnifying light, part specific gages, etc.Identify individual potential non-conformances ahead of completionMaintain cleanliness, verify calibration and ability to identify wear of inspection toolingMaintain traceability of work productQuality of workMaintain less than 2% individual non-conforming parts/scrap ratePhysical quarantine your non-conforming parts/scrap productsEnsure that all products meet quality standards and report potential non-conformances or safety issuesCommunicate any production issues through chain of command as neededContribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and qualityAll other duties as assignedWe offer health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as retirement plans.
