Job description
Form’s Advanced Product Development team is responsible for architecting and designing the next generation of our iron-air battery system — the cell, module, pack, and the support systems that keep them running reliably for decades in the field
We work ahead of our production programs, translating breakthrough electrochemistry and system requirements into mechanical designs that can scale to high-volume manufacturing
We’re hiring a Mechanical Engineer II to support the design, build and test hardware for our next generation of iron-air batteries. As part of our Advanced Product Development team, you will have a hands‑on role in designing next‑generation system‑level designs
You will also have the opportunity to design parts for volume manufacturing. Your work will rely on a broad range of engineering disciplines, including heat transfer, fluid dynamics and mechanics. You will integrate tightly with a team of experienced engineers to write and execute verification test plans and iterate on designs with data‑driven analysis

Lead hands‑on prototyping and verification testing of subsystem designs
Drive instrumentation, data collection and data analysis for system‑level validation builds
