Job description
Mechanical Design Engineer
We’re seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of custom mechanical systems from initial concept through manufacturing and customer acceptance. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in industrial automation, material handling, machine tools, or custom machinery who enjoys owning complex designs and collaborating across engineering and manufacturing teams.
5+ years of mechanical design experience in automation, material handling, machine tools, or custom machinery
Lead mechanical designs from concept through manufacturing release
Advanced 3D CAD skills; SolidWorks preferred
Develop layouts, detailed drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs)
Strong knowledge and application of GD&T
Experience with PDM/PLM systems and engineering change management
Work closely with Project Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Service
Support design reviews, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer acceptance
