Job description
Mechanical Engineer, should be capable of:
- Evaluating the suitability and performance of packaging equipment, from fillers through secondary packaging.
- Supporting End-of-Line (EOL) systems, including palletizing operations.
- Coordinating and working closely with equipment vendors.
- Developing and finalizing technical specifications for equipment modifications and packaging/product changeovers.
- Providing engineering support for packaging process improvements and optimization.
- Should be proficient in AutoCAD and capable of developing and modifying packaging line layouts.
- The role will also be responsible for coordination and integration of 3D models within the overall plant design environment.
- While the engineer is expected to lead 3D model coordination activities, offshore support can be leveraged on a project-by-project basis for additional 3D modeling hours whenever required.
- Experience in reviewing layout impacts, equipment placement, utility requirements, and integration of new packaging equipment into existing production lines would be beneficial.
Preferred Industry Experience:
- Food & Beverage industry
- Ice Cream manufacturing
- Hygienic/clean-process industries
- 5+ to 10 + yr experience will be better in above domain field.
