Location: Gloucester, MA
Pay Rate: $70 to $92 per hour

Position Overview
Applied Materials is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to support advanced engineering projects in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
Define, coordinate, perform and document engineering tests and reports.
Develop and modify layouts, schematics, specifications and drawings.
Perform engineering analysis and lead technical projects.
Design custom tooling, fixtures and manufacturing processes.
Review engineering documentation and develop mechanical solutions.
Build consensus and communicate technical information clearly.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
4-7 years of experience
CREO CAD experience
Knowledge of thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD&T, flow analysis and DFx principles
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of the Applied Materials product lifecycle including prototyping, packaging, material selection and manufacturing methods
Estimated Min Rate: $63.00
Estimated Max Rate: $90.00
