About the Role
Our client is looking for a motivated Mechanical Engineer with a strong aptitude for Project Management to join their team in Welkom. Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate all phases of engineering projects, from planning and design to execution and closeout.
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget forecasting.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
Ensure that all engineering designs and project deliverables meet required quality standards and regulatory compliance.
Conduct regular project status meetings, providing comprehensive reports to stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a demonstrated interest or experience in project management.
Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a hybrid team.
Understanding of engineering design principles and manufacturing processes.
