Ensuring conformance requirements using calibrated measuring equipment and visual inspection. Interpreting customer drawings and specifications, and reference company work instructions and process travelers.Basic blueprint reading & shop math (Trigonometry)Inspect first off parts from manufacturing work centersCollect measurement data for use in First Article Inspection (FAI) reportsCollect and provide data required for critical part Final Inspection Reports (FIRs)Qualifications:0-2 years' experience performing in-process and final inspection preferably in a machining, automotive or aerospace businessBasic knowledge of GD&T preferredCMM operation experience preferredAbility to correctly use and interpret basic measuring tools including weight gauge, micrometer, caliper scale (linear), gauge blocks, thread gauges, and comparative standardsVisual inspection experience
