Mechanical InspectorJoin our client, a well-established manufacturer with more than 65 years of experience producing high-quality aluminum containers for the defense and aerospace industries.We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Inspector to join the Quality Assurance/Quality Control team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in accurate work, is comfortable using computers, and has experience inspecting manufactured parts and products.You will have the opportunity to:Inspect manufactured parts and finished products to verify quality and dimensional requirementsUse precision measuring and inspection tools to confirm products meet specificationsIdentify and document defects or measurements that fall outside required tolerancesMaintain accurate inspection records and enter information into computer systemsWork closely with production and quality team members to resolve quality concernsFollow established quality procedures and safety requirementsWhat We're Looking For:Previous mechanical inspection, quality inspection, or manufacturing experienceStrong attention to detail and accuracyComfortable using computers to enter and maintain inspection informationExperience using inspection tools such as:Tape measures and scalesMicrometersProtractorsRadius and fillet gaugesGo/no-go gaugesWebster hardness testersAbility to read and follow specifications, instructions, and inspection requirementsASQ certifications and familiarity with AS9100 quality standards are strongly preferred and will make you a highly competitive candidate.What You Can Look Forward To:Four-day workweek with Fridays offWeekly payFull benefits beginning on the first of the month after 60 days of employmentPaid time off after six monthsPaid birthday time offThe stability of an established company serving the defense and aerospace industriesIf you have a strong eye for detail and enjoy ensuring products meet high quality standards, we encourage you to apply.
