Job DescriptionJob Title -- Industrial Equipment Maintenance engineer
Up to $ 40 an hour – Full Time
4 DAY WORK WEEKS
Benefits – Health Insurance, PTO, Holiday pay, overtime available, 4 day work weeks
Job Description Summary:
Perform installation and preventative maintenance on various process machinery throughout a large industrial facility. This team member will install, repair, troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on industrial processing equipment, water systems, boiler room, material handling, and packaging equipment. They will have a great opportunity to learn other facets of industrial machines such as hydraulics, plumbing, and pneumatics that they are not strong at.. This job will be scheduled to work 4 ten hour days per week with 3 days off in a row.
Essential Job Functions:
Complete Assigned tasks list to include installation, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance. Tasks also include repairs and preventive maintenance on pumps, conveying systems, water systems, piping, heat exchangers, and other power-driven equipment.
Read and understand Manufacturers manuals, schematics, and blueprints, and be able to install and troubleshoot from them.
Strong machine troubleshooting skills
Respond to daily maintenance requests in a timely fashion to minimize equipment downtime
Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment
Look for opportunities to continually improve maintenance processes
Work with all plant personnel in a cooperative and professional manner
Strictly adhere to all safety rules, policies and procedures
Ability to study manufacturers’ manuals, schematics to determine correct operation of machinery
Maintain provided tools required for completion or assigned tasks.
· Work in elevated areas.
· Must be able to work in a team environment with Safety First Expectations
Requirements Qualifications
8 plus years of maintenance of large industrial equipment in a production environment.
Have and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding or other safety violations.
-knowledge of machinery, pnuematics, hydraulics, and plumbing.
- Proficient in the proper use of power and hand tools.
- Strong troubleshooting ability
- PLC and VFD experience a plus.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English, ability to comprehend and follow direction, perform basic math, good time management
- Must be a self-motivated team player with enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work well done; self-starter dedicated to continual quality improvement.

- Standing, sitting, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, kneeling, working in tight spaces, reaching overhead, driving a forklift, grasping, moving equipment, pushing, pulling, moving loaded carts.
