Mechanical Quality Control Inspector – Aerospace Manufacturing (Hauppauge, NY)Hourly: $24–$30 | Full-Time | On-SiteA well-established aerospace manufacturer in Hauppauge, NY is seeking a Mechanical Quality Control Inspector with strong experience inspecting precision-manufactured components. This role requires hands-on inspection skills and familiarity with aerospace manufacturing standards.Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine inspection requirementsPerform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on sheet metal parts, machined parts, and assembliesConduct First Article Inspections using appropriate measurement methodsUse calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other hand tools for dimensional checksPerform CMM-related inspection tasks (experience preferred)Inspect raw materials and verify compliance with quality standardsMaintain accurate inspection records, reports, and metricsEnsure equipment is properly used, maintained, and safeCommunicate findings to quality management and production teamsRequired Qualifications3+ years of quality inspection experience in manufacturingStrong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processesAbility to read blueprints and GD&TProficiency with hand measuring toolsAbility to independently inspect sheet metal, machined parts, and assembliesComputer proficiencyAbility to lift up to 40 lbsExperience with AS9100 environments preferredCMM experience preferredU.S. Citizenship requiredHigh school diploma or equivalentCompensation & Benefits$24–$30 per hour, depending on experiencePaid time offMedical, dental, life insuranceFSA options401(k) with company match
