Mechanical Service / Test TechnicianManufacturing Company in Chino is seeking a Mechanical Service / Test Technician. REED, LLC is an OEM with a worldwide distribution of concrete pumps / construction equipment. Founded in 1957 and privately owned, is known throughout the construction industry for the highest quality, most powerful concrete pumps made.Summary: Service / Test Technician will be responsible for testing and servicing heavy concrete placing equipment.Interested candidate must demonstrate the following:Professional SkillsOne year minimum related experience and/or trainingAbility to read, write and comprehend simple mechanical instructions, blueprints and schematicsBasic Mechanical/Assembly, hydraulics and electrical knowledge.Specific Job RequirementsThe candidate will perform, but not be limited to:Test and pass finished equipment according to quality specifications established by engineering.Test equipment, troubleshoot nature of any technical problem and determine possible solutions such as part redesign, substitution of material or parts, or rearrangement of parts or subassemblies.Make recommendations to engineering/production for changes to specifications according to results of test.Troubleshoot, Service, Repair and Maintenance of Customer Equipment brought in for service.The candidate in this position will need the ability to lift objects 30-50lbs and bend to service equipment.Personal AttributesPays attention to detailDeadline orientedGood communication skillsSelf-motivatedTeam playerDependablePosition Reports To: Service Manager
