Job description
Mechanic Helper
JP Mascaro & Sons has an excellent career opportunity for a Mechanic Helper at our Pioneer Crossing Landfill location in Birdsboro, PA.
Responsibilities:
Help assist with any general maintenance on heavy equipment/onsite vehicles
Help fix any major repairs needed in a timely manner
Perform any general repairs/services on heavy equipment/onsite vehicles
Complete necessary daily shop paperwork
Help fix any major sudden breakdowns in a timely manner to prevent delay in operations
Ability to help out onsite of the landfill when needed with driving truck, landscaping, etc.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday full time
Overtime hours are available immediately
Must be able to work every other Saturday
Requirements:
Must be able to work every other Saturday
Good communication skills both orally and written
Must be comfortable and able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
Must have a valid drivers license
Ability to drive both commercial and non-commercial vehicles with manual transmission (preferred)
Compensation:
Determined upon experience
Monthly compliance bonus
