Mechanic HelperSolid Waste Services of WV dba JP Mascaro & Sons has an excellent career opportunity for a Mechanic Helper at our Proctor location.Responsibilities:Help assist with any general maintenance on heavy equipment/onsite vehiclesHelp fix any major repairs needed in a timely mannerPerform any general repairs/services on heavy equipment/onsite vehiclesComplete necessary daily shop paperworkHelp fix any major sudden breakdowns in a timely manner to prevent delay in operationsAbility to help out onsite of the landfill when needed with driving truck, landscaping, etc.Compensation: $ -depending on experienceWork Schedule:Monday through Friday full timeOvertime hours are available immediatelyMust be able to work every other SaturdayRequirements:Must have some hands on experience as a helper and knowledge of mechanics.Must be able to work every other SaturdayGood communication skills both orally and writtenMust be comfortable and able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditionsMust have a valid drivers licenseAbility to drive both commercial and non-commercial vehicles with manual transmission (preferred) and automatic transmissionEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
