Job TitleMedical SecretaryJob DescriptionThe medical secretary will handle all clerical responsibilities.RequirementsHS Diploma/GED RequiredExperience working in a medical practice is highly preferredEPIC experience preferredProvider administrative experienceExperience working within a very busy, dynamic physician practice setting.Proficient in Microsoft OfficeResponsibilitiesResponsibilities will include:Assist with front office dutiesCoordinate doctors' office, on-call and operating schedulesBook surgeries and radiology procedures and guide patient through entire process of careObtain necessary authorizationsPerform reconciliation of various revenue reportsRegister patient demographicsAnswering phonesVerifying insurancesPreparing chartsAssisting patients with various needsVarious office projects and clerical dutiesSalary RangeUSD $21.21 - USD $29.70 /Hr.This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and position location.
