Job description
Role: Provides direct patient care as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Med Surg / Telemetry units, focusing on adult medical, surgical, and cardiac patients.
Responsibilities: Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; promoting patient and family-centered care; educating patients on managing their health; participating in safety, quality, and regulatory activities; developing individualized care plans; and communicating across care teams.
Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree required; BSN preferred. No prior experience necessary, but telemetry and Med Surg experience are advantageous. Must hold an active RN license.
Skills: Critical nursing skills, effective communication, patient-centered approach, and ability to work safely in a high-alert environment.
