Job description
This position involves providing direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards. The nurse promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and participates in safety, quality, and professional development activities. Responsibilities include developing and communicating individualized care plans, assessing physical and psychosocial needs, and respecting patient values and cultural differences.
Qualifications & Skills:
Licensed RN with a Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree; Bachelor's preferred
Med Surg experience is preferred; no prior experience required
Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills
Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment
