Job description
This Med Surg travel nurse position in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with Advantis Medical is a 13-week Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) contract at Lovelace Women's Hospital. This role pays $2,097 per week and follows a Days shift with a Schedule Not Provided schedule.
As the Med Surg registered nurse on this assignment, you'll prioritize care across a varied medical-surgical caseload, administer ordered medications and treatments, educate patients and families, and manage admissions, discharges, and safe care transitions.

Responsibilities
Manage a varied caseload of patients with acute and chronic medical-surgical conditions, including postoperative care when assigned
Perform thorough assessments and monitor for changes in condition, escalating concerns promptly
Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered
Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers with the interdisciplinary care team
Travel Nursing Requirements:
2+ years of recent Med Surg nursing experience
Active New Mexico RN License
