You will use clear, compassionate communication and attention to detail to keep the unit running smoothly and caring for others like family – one shift at a time.Your responsibilities will include:Greeting and guiding patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism, offering updates, and ensuring they feel informed and supportedMaintaining patient records accurately, entering physician orders, and protecting patient informationHandling all communications between incoming calls and care team members promptly and clearly to keep the unit connectedKeeping the environment clean, organized, and well-stocked to promote safety and comfortTaking initiative to solve challenges, support daily operations, and foster a culture of respect and teamworkWhat Qualifications You Will Need:High School Graduate / GED requiredPrevious medical clerical or hospital Unit Secretary experience preferredCatholic Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
