Overview
We are seeking a talented Media Monitoring & Intelligence Analyst (Media Data Curator II) to support a high-profile corporate communications team in a fast-paced global news environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to track, analyze, and evaluate media coverage across business, technology, and corporate affairs, while helping the organization anticipate risks and uncover opportunities.
The ideal candidate will bring strong writing expertise, excellent news judgment, and the ability to distill complex topics into clear, concise insights. Success in this role requires working with speed and accuracy under tight deadlines, while collaborating effectively with communications professionals across regions.
Key Qualifications
2+ years of experience in journalism, PR, research, or related media monitoring fields.
Demonstrated passion for international news and current affairs (business, technology, politics).
Proven ability to write quickly, clearly, and accurately under pressure.
Excellent news judgment with the ability to flag issues of potential impact to the business.
Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills.
Self-driven, detail-oriented, and highly motivated to deliver on tight deadlines.
Solid understanding of diverse news and communication channels, including digital, broadcast, social, and online media.
Second language proficiency strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
Monitor and track international, financial, and corporate news relevant to the organization and the broader industry landscape.
Provide real-time alerts on breaking news from TV, print, online, and social media channels.
Deliver concise and objective written summaries of key developments, along with longer-form reports when required.
Collaborate and coordinate with a global network of PR and communications managers.
Maintain editorial calendars and tracking tools to identify opportunities and potential issues.
Support the communications team with additional research, reporting, and media intelligence activities.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
