Medical Administrative AssistantSalary Range: $20.00 to $24.00 an hourBy adhering to Connecticut State Law, pay ranges are posted. The pay rate will vary based on various factors including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge of position and comparison to others who are already in this role within the company.Flu Vaccine Considerations: Proof of annual flu vaccination is required for all employees.PACT MSO is a Management Service Organization that supports numerous physician groups. We are a medium sized company with a family atmosphere.PACT MSO has a busy Internal Medicine Group seeking a Medical Administrative Assistant. We have positions located in West Haven, Amity, and Milford with travel to West Haven, New Haven, Milford, Guilford, and Wallingford as needed. The hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm with rotating Saturday mornings.This position supports a department, provider, or manager by performing duties as directed.Essential Functions - Medical Administrative AssistantAssist with appointment scheduling, rescheduling, follow up, etc.Responsible for schedule utilization, cancelation and wait list managementCoordinates tests, procedures, and lab appointments for patientsProvide patients with information and respond to patient inquiriesSchedule and coordinate meetingsAssist with all patient portal questionsAttend meetings as required by managementCommunicate information appropriately, accurately, and timelyCreate and maintain reports and distributes to appropriate staff and managementIdentify and communicate inconsistencies of information in reports to appropriate staffSkills and Knowledge - Medical Administrative AssistantIntermediate computer skills including MS OfficeAttention to detailCollaboration skillsCommunication proficiencyEducation and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalentExperience in an office setting
