Medical Assembler 1st & 2nd ShiftDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Medical Assemblers for a medical device manufacturing company in Lowell, MA. In this role, you'll help manufacture high-quality medical products using specialized production equipment, laser systems, and inspection tools in a regulated environment. Read below for more information!As a Medical Assembler 1st & 2nd Shift, you will:Assemble medical device products and components according to established procedures and specificationsSet up, operate, and troubleshoot manufacturing workstations and laser systemsPerform visual and dimensional inspections using microscopes, gauges, verniers, and micrometersLoad fixtures, tools, and components into production equipment and manufacturing systemsComplete pre- and post-process operations, including product fabrication, assembly, and cleaningTrain and support team members on manufacturing processes and workstation operationsFollow GMP, quality, safety, and documentation requirements while identifying and communicating quality issuesTo qualify for the Medical Assembler 1st & 2nd Shift role, you need:3+ years of medical device manufacturing experience requiredAbility to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work instructionsStrong visual inspection and dimensional measurement experienceAbility to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 poundsBasic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office applicationsStrong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to read, write, and speak English fluentlyWhy You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing Solutions:Enjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
