The work environment is a well-lit clean room that is temperature controlled.Medical Assembler Requirements:Assembly or packaging of medical components in a clean room environment where quality and attention to detail are of the utmost importanceOperate laser and resistance welding equipmentQuality control and inspection with tight tolerancesPad printing, gluingPlastic solderingBar sealing/tray sealingMeasuring and checking parts under magnificationBoxing and labeling materialsMay operate a packaging machineMaintain and follow 5s principles and participate in rapid improvement eventsSchedule & Pay:1st Shift 5:30am-3:30pm with overtime as required$18/HR plus bonusesMedical Assembler Qualifications:Able and willing to wear required protective equipment including protective eyewear, ear plugs, hair nets, protective gowningMust be able to read, write and comprehend write English fluentlyAbility to use measuring devices and hand tools including but not limited to allen wrenches, screwdrivers, pliersBasic mathematical skills to understand tolerances and variationAbility to lift 35lbs; occasionally up to 50lbs.Excellent vision and hand eye coordinationAbility to frequently bend, lift, twist, stand and significant use of handsCandidates must be able to pass a national background checkManufacturing experience is preferred, but willing to train
