Job description
Medical AssistantHiring for Medical Assistant in Boston, MA. $25/hr. to $30/hr.Position Details:Contract Length: 13 weeks with possible extensions.Shift & Schedule: 5x8s Day Shift (8:30am - 5pm).Compensation for Locals (Less than 50 miles):Gross Weekly Pay: $1,200/week.W2 Taxable hourly rate: $30/hr.Job Details and Requirements:High school diploma or GED required.Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant or direct patient care experience.Medical Assistant (MA), EMT, SNA, or LNA certification/diploma with at least 5 months of patient care experience.Experience performing patient intake, including vital signs, height & weight measurements, EKGs, phlebotomy, scheduling diagnostic/laboratory tests, and navigating web-based applications.Experience with Point-of-Care (POC) testing.EPIC EMR experience required.Knowledge of maintaining clean, organized, and stocked patient care areas, including medical equipment and supplies.
