Medical AssistantUS Heart and Vascular is in need of a Medical Assistant to join our team at Cardiovascular Care of North Georgia in Gainesville GA.Responsibilities:Interviews patients, measures vital signs such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height and records information in patients' charts.Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician.Record patients' medical history, vital statistics, or information such as test results in medical records.Help physicians examine and treat patientsAuthorize drug refills and provide prescription information to pharmacies.Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean.Operate electrocardiogram (EKG), or other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests.Requirements:Completion of a Medical Assistant programPrevious experience in Cardiology PreferredExperience with EKGs is requiredWhy Choose Us?Comprehensive benefits packageMonday-Friday scheduleCME allowanceAbout Gainesville, Georgia:Gainesville is located near Lake Lanier and the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains; Gainesville offers an exceptional quality of life with:Excellent schoolsAbundant outdoor recreationAffordable cost of livingConvenient access to Atlanta
