Medical Assistant OpportunityPride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's medical facility in Bethpage, NY 11714. This is a 3+ month contract assignment (convertible to permanent based on performance) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Specific duties include:Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by taking vital signs, documenting medical histories, and assisting with medical tests.Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records, including recording patient information, test results, and treatment plans.Perform routine administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, billing managing patient data.Sterilize medical instruments and equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care within a multidisciplinary team.Maintain inventory of medical supplies and restock as necessary.Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.Requirements:Experience: 1 year of Medical Assistant ExperienceEducation: High school graduate or GED equivalentCertifications: Current Medical Assistant Certification & BLS certificationAdditional Information:Location: Bethpage, NY 11714Job Type: 3+ months contract to hireSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pmPay Range: $19-$23/hrEqual Employment OpportunityPrideGlobal and its affiliates are an equal opportunity employer.
