The Medical Assistant performs in a manner consistent with Marshfield Clinic's mission, policies, and initiatives while maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.Job QualificationsEducation/ExperienceMinimum Required: One of the following:Graduate of a Medical Assistant programDocumented successful completion of the following courses or their recognized course equivalent:Medical Terminology from an accredited institution or completed online through Universal Class.Anatomy & Physiology or Body Structure & Function or Human Body in Health & Disease from an accredited institution or completed online through Universal Class.Pharmacology from an accredited institution.Two years of Medical Assistant-related work experience and completion of the required educational courses listed above within the first 12 months from hire.Preferred/Optional: Experience in healthcare experience.Certifications/LicensesThe following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position.
