Medical Assistant–Certified (MA-C)Sea Mar Community Health Centers, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) founded in 1978, is a community-based organization committed to providing quality, comprehensive health, human, housing, educational and cultural services to diverse communities, specializing in service to Latinos in Washington State. We are recruiting for the following position:The Medical Assistant–Certified (MA-C) supports providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered primary care. This role serves as a key member of the care team, assisting with patient intake, clinical quality measures, documentation, referrals, and procedures to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent care.Key Duties:Room patients, obtain histories and vital signsTrack and document clinical quality measures in the EHRAssist providers with exams, procedures, and chartingAdminister medications and immunizations per protocolCoordinate labs, referrals, and specialty careProvide excellent customer service using the AIDET modelQualifications:Graduate of an approved MA programCurrent MA-C license (or MA-Interim with certification within 90 days)BLS/CPR required (or within 90 days)Ambulatory care experience preferredBilingual English/Spanish strongly preferredFast-paced outpatient setting.
