Medical AssistantJoin our dedicated outpatient team at the Veterans clinic, where patient-centered care is our top priority. In this role you will directly report to the Center Administrator and play an important part in delivering high-quality clinical support.Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Medical Assistant, you will perform a variety of clinical responsibilities, including:Obtain patient histories, discuss symptoms, and record vital signsAdminister medications and vaccines following protocolsPerform phlebotomy and collect laboratory specimensPrepare and maintain clean, sterile examination and equipmentDocument patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) systemRequiredSuccessful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 3+ years of experience and approval from ProviderHigh school diploma or equivalentCPR CertifiedThis role is considered patient facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TBPreferredPhlebotomy experience• Medication/vaccine administration experienceAt least 1 year of MA experienceValue Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience.Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish - must pass proficiency exam prior to foreign language communicationScheduleOnsite, Full-time, 40 hours per weekScheduled Weekly Hours40Pay RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$43,000 - $56,200 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
