Job Summary:
This position is for a Medical Assistant (CMA/MA) responsible for providing clinical support in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The role involves direct patient interaction, documentation, and assisting healthcare providers with various tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Responsibilities:
Perform patient intake procedures, including vital signs and medical histories.
Assist healthcare providers during exams and procedures.
Document clinical information accurately into electronic health records.
Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment according to protocols.
Complete designated labs and notify providers of results within specified timeframes.
Ensure compliance with certifications, licensing, and hospital policies.
Qualifications:
Hold a high school diploma or GED.
Successfully complete a formal Medical Assistant training program.
Hold current BLS certification.
Speak Mandarin, Korean, or Spanish fluently.
A minimum of one year of Medical Assistant experience preferred.
Possess Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA-CMA or AMT-RMA) preferred.
