Job description
Call for Salary Rate -
Job Summary:
Provide clinical support and patient care as a Medical Assistant, ensuring smooth facility operations and quality service delivery. This role involves assisting healthcare providers with patient interactions and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
Perform clinical tasks including taking vital signs and preparing patients for examinations.
Administer injections and perform basic laboratory tests under physician supervision.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in the electronic medical record system.
Follow infection control protocols and adhere to dress code standards, including matching scrubs.
Float between departments as needed, providing support across multiple clinical areas.
Ensure compliance with facility policies and maintain a professional, compassionate demeanor.
Qualifications:
Possess a valid CMA or MA certification.
Demonstrate at least 2 years of clinical experience in a medical assistant role.
Be proficient in using Cerner EMR software.
Exhibit excellent communication and multitasking skills.
Maintain current CPR and BLS certifications.
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to various clinical settings.
