Job description

Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive clinical support in an outpatient OB/GYN setting, assisting with patient care, procedures, and laboratory tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Responsibilities:
Perform blood draws, lab work, and venipuncture with proficiency.
Assist during OB/GYN procedures including PAP, colposcopy, LEEP, D&C, EMB, IUD insertions and removals, Nexplanon insertion/removal, and NST.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinic protocols.
Support patient education and provide exceptional customer service.
Follow infection control practices and ensure safety procedures are adhered to at all times.
Qualifications:
Possess at least 2 years of experience in an outpatient clinic, specifically 1 year in OB/GYN.
Hold a Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program.
Certified in BLS by AHA or ARC.
Proficient in blood draws, lab procedures, and common OB/GYN clinical tasks.
Have a valid California Medical Assistant certification in hand at time of submission.
Capable of floating between multiple locations as needed.
