Medical AssistantLocation: Colorado Springs, CO – Two Clinic LocationsPay: $18 – $21 / hourSchedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PMEmployment Type: Temporary Contract through approximately DecemberBenefits: This role is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401k.About Our ClientAddison Group is hiring for our client, a busy specialty physician practice in Colorado Springs, seeking Medical Assistants to provide temporary clinical coverage.This is a great opportunity for an experienced MA or a newly certified Medical Assistant looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced specialty practice. Strong performers may also have the opportunity to be considered for future openings as they become available.Position OverviewThe Medical Assistant will work alongside providers and clinical staff to support daily patient care and maintain an efficient clinic flow.This is a high-volume environment, with the busiest clinic days seeing up to approximately 200 patients across the practice. Candidates should be comfortable working at a quick pace while maintaining accuracy and providing a positive patient experience.Team members may work at either of two nearby Colorado Springs locations depending on coverage needs. Clinic assignments are typically communicated approximately one week in advance.Key ResponsibilitiesRoom patients and prepare them for provider visitsObtain and document vital signsReview and update patient medical historiesPrepare exam rooms for daily appointmentsAssist providers and clinical staff throughout the patient visitHelp maintain efficient patient flow during high-volume clinic daysAccurately document patient informationProvide professional and compassionate patient supportAssist with additional clinical responsibilities as assignedTravel between assigned Colorado Springs clinic locations based on scheduled coverage needsQualificationsCandidates should meet one of the following:Medical Assistant certification, including newly certified candidates with limited professional experience, ORPrevious hands-on Medical Assistant or clinical experienceAdditional qualifications include:Medical Assistant certification is preferred but not required for candidates with relevant experiencePrevious physician practice or specialty clinic experience is a plusComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environmentStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while moving quicklyDependable with excellent attendance and punctualityAbility to learn new workflows and processes quicklyAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
